The Pint of Plain Jumper – Pre-Order

Designed in Leitrim and made in a family run workshop in Ardara, Co. Donegal using Kilcarra Tweed, a 100% Pure New Wool yarn traditionally spun by Donegal Yarns. The yarn is spun and knit oil on cone, then washed for softness, creating a warm, substantial Aran with a smooth heritage handle.

The Pint of Plain Jumper is my homage to the deep, comforting richness of a pint of the black stuff. The body is knit in a dark, velvety shade that captures the depth of a freshly poured pint, while the creamy cuff gives a quiet nod to the soft foam that settles on top. Together they create a colour pairing that is iconic, irresistible and unmistakably Irish.

This piece balances tradition and modernity. The Aran stitches carry the story of Irish craft, while the colour work adds a contemporary edge. The fit is classic, warm, textured and designed for everyday wear. Each jumper is hand finished in my studio in Dromahair for the final touches that make every piece personal.
