An Irish-made merino balaclava crafted in Donegal for everyday wear.
The Meadow Balaclava takes its name from the meadowsweet that grows wild along Leitrim’s hedgerows — its soft cream frothy petals mirrored in the tones of this piece. Designed in Leitrim and knit in Kilcar, County Donegal, it’s made from 100% Donegal-spun merino wool, traditionally dyed and spun to capture the warmth and richness of the landscape.
In shades of rich cream with a light grey band, this balaclava is both practical and quietly striking. The fit is intentionally relaxed, not skin tight, allowing for breathability while keeping you warm through cold winds. A delicate honeycomb stitch gives it texture and depth, honouring traditional Irish knitting techniques through a contemporary lens.
Each balaclava is knit in small batches and finished by hand. Please allow up to two weeks for dispatch.

Style Notes
The Meadow Balaclava pairs Irish tradition with modern utility. Its sculptural shape and gentle tones complement wool coats, heavy knits or simple workwear. Wear it pulled up against the wind or folded back as a hood. The soft Donegal flecks and rich creams of meadowsweet bring quiet warmth and a sense of the Irish landscape wherever you go.
