Inspired by Amish Hourglass quilt patterns, this is our take on a very traditional patchwork design. Tiny triangles form a playful pattern like a squadron of paper planes. This is the daytime version. 

We decided to make an adult version of the baby quilt as we couldn’t stop dreaming about it on a double bed in a beautiful bright white room. 

It’s perfect draped over the knees for outdoor dining, or as a throw to decorate your couch or bed. You might even use it as a wall hanger.

Traditionally the triangles are bigger but we designed them to be the size of butterflies.This was extremely intricate for my Mam to make. Look closely at the squares and you try figure out how she made this! Trust us, it’s a headache!

Your bespoke quilt will be numbered with a completion date written on a screen printed label handsewn on the back fabric.

For €50 we can add a short embroidered message on the back of the quilt eg “For Evie born 01/01/2021” Please fill out the box if you would like to add this feature. 

Every quilt is handmade to order. Your bespoke quilt may vary slightly from the photo due to different dye batches and the unpredictable nature of the handmade. We view this as a positive thing as your quilt is unique to you. No two M.O.P quilts are ever the same!
